Purpose of the Trip
This educational experience is designed to provide cadets with firsthand insight into Marine Corps training, discipline, leadership, and core values. The visit will promote character development, teamwork, respect, and a deeper understanding of military service and potential career pathways, while connecting classroom instruction to real-world applications.

Trip Details

- Dates: Departing Tuesday, March 17, 2026 / Returning Friday, March 20, 2026
- Departure: Brooke Point High School at 7:30 AM
- Return: Brooke Point High School at approximately 8:00 PM
- Location: Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, South Carolina
- Transportation: Chartered bus
- Cost: $20 per cadet (Cash, check, or click here to pay online)
- Cadets will be accompanied by Master Sergeant Reid, First Sergeant Polanco, and two female chaperones.
- Cadets will sleep in open squad bays, similar to a summer camp environment. Male and female cadets will be housed in separate squad bays at all times.
- Cadets are responsible for lunch during the drive to South Carolina and dinner during the return trip.
- All other meals will be provided during the visit.
