    Air Rifle Team Commander: C/ENS Logan Major
    The Black-Hawk Air Rifle Team competes in National Standard Three-Position Air Rifle competitions at the Local, Regional, and National Level. Unit and individual shooter goals are to qualify for the Navy JROTC Service Championships (Navy Nationals) and to qualify for the All-Service JROTC National Championships. All unit teams compete in the Sporter classification and requires competitors to fire in the prone, standing, and kneeling positions on a 10-meter range. Cadets in good standing may also earn varsity letters, shoulder cords, and medals in competitions.
    "Congratulations to JROTC Cadets Logan Major and Logan Hawkins for their outstanding performance in the recent American Legion State Championship Rifle Match. After all results were tallied, their team was named Virginia State Champions and Logan Major was atop the list as the new Individual State Champion! Next up on the calendar, Major will be competing in the Civilian Marksmanship Programs (CMP) National Championship at Camp Perry, Ohio in June. followed by travel to Colorado Springs, CO to compete in the American Legions' National Championship in July."
