Academic Commander: C/ENS Samuel Mathieson
The Academic Team learns various materials from the NJROTC curriculum. From the NS level textbooks, cadet field manuals, as well as other miscellaneous knowledge. In our team practices, we review information as well as learn new information through various activities to prepare us for future competitions. The Academic Team competes against other teams in Area 5, the National Academic Exam, and the JLAB competition. The Academic Team looks to go to more of these meets to compete this year. Joining the Academic Team will put you ahead of your peers with your NJROTC knowledge and help cadets to excel in uniform inspections and advancement exams.
