Bright Night - Prom
Who: Cadet 14+ years old and 16+ years old
What: Basically a prom for individuals with special needs. Volunteers will cheer on guests as they arrive and/or act as paparazzi inside.
Where: The Mount off Garrisonville Rd.
When: Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4pm-6pm

American Legion Post 290 - Poppy Patch Craft & Gift Show
Who: Any Cadets
What: Set-up and conduct of Poppy Patch Craft and Gift Show
Where: American Legion Post 290
When: May 4th from 6:30a to 3p

When: Friday, May 10, 2024 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

American Veterans Ball - Washington DC
****This event is currently filled and no more volunteers are needed*****
Who: American Veterans Organization
What: They are requesting 5 JROTC Cadets (in uniform) to serve as Greeters, Hosts, and Registrars.
Where: Washington Hilton
When: May 18th (See timeline below)
4:30 PM- 5 / Cadets arrive
5:30-6:45 / VIP Reception
6 PM / General Admission
7:15 / Opening Remarks
7:30 PM Dinner (Cadets will eat with the Ball guests)
8:15-9:15 / The Official Program
9:30 PM / Dance floor opens (Cadets are invited to stay for dancing. Their "official" duties will conclude at 9:30 PM.)
If you are interested in attending, please let 1stSgt Polanco know. Keep in mind this event is in Washington DC and you will need your own transportation. The event is free and parking will be provided.
