June 6 to June 9
Over a four day period, rising 9th graders are introduced to the NJROTC program and the teams: Air Rifle, Drill, Academics/Uniform, Physical Fitness (PT), and Orienteering. They're also allowed to meet and get to know other new coming cadets, current cadets, and the instructors.
Black Hawk Basic gives the new cadets an opportunity to learn and understand the unit, the teams, and will have a head start before the school year begins.
